I have not run across a Godfrey Bick. From the birh date you listed he would have been a contempory of the earlist Bick I have (Nicholas). Nicholas appears to have been non-communicative about his ancestors or any siblings. As far I as have been able to learn his children did not know his parents' names.

In your research, did you run across any info on a Godfrey Bick in/around Peru Twp, Huron County, Ohio? I am fairly sure he was my gggrandfather, would have been born c. 1837 in Baden, Germany, married to Catharine _______, had about 8 children including Andrew, Kata, Rosa, Mary, Edward, Matilda, Theodore, and Levina, b. 1862-1879. This info from 1880 US Census. I am still looking for Catherine's maiden name, and info re: Godfrey's immigration.

This is probably not related to anything being posted right now, but my grandmother was sent some things belonging to a relative, Robert McKnight, who apparently died without ever being married or having children. The letter says that the things are being sent to my grandmother with the suggestion that it be donated to the smithsonian institute, the letter states "my uncle, Robert McKnight" and is signed by an Ann L. Bick 247 Linden St. Moorestown, N.J. Robert was b. in 1891 & d. in 1975, the letter was sent in 1983. Was hoping someone could shed some light on this.

I have a Nicholas Bick b. 1821 in Prussia d. 1914 Raabs Corner, Ohio (south of Toledo) he was married to Catherine (sometimes listed a Katharina, as it is on her gravestone) Brown b. 1832 in Bavaria d. 1896 in Raabs Corner. Their male children, whom survived childhood, were George b. 1852, Jacob b. 1865, and John b. 1875. There were several Bick families in the area whom, to the best of my knowledge, were not related. But from family oral tradition Nicholas Bick never wanted to talk about his parents or other family, his parents are listed as unknown on his death certificate. Let me know if these fit, I have more information.

Hi Randy,
I am not sure if this is the same family or not. My great-grandfather was Henry F. Bick( Born1859 in Baden Germany). He married Mary Weislogel. To this marriage was born Katherine Bick (Born 1884 in Fairview PA) for whom married Harry Harshey. Unfortunately I do not know anything more about John Bick other than he was born in 1830 in Baden Germany. Do you think there could be a connection?
Sincerely
Barb

Greg's best friend in high school was Ken Mason, my husband. Ken would love to find out where to locate him. He was born/raised in Florissant,Mo. After high school, Greg moved to Jackson, Florida and we kept in touch mostly by phone. While there, he married a girl from New England. Somehow we lost touch with him and dont know where he is now. He is like family to us and we hope someone out there either knows Greg Bick (42 yrs old) or where he can be reached. We would greatly appreciate it. He may reside in Florida, Missouri, or New England area.
