John Bickel (II) was the son of John Bickel Sr. born May 02, 1752 in Bethel Township (Then in Lancaster or Chester Co.) He married Sabrina ??? They resided in Jonestown, Lebanon Co.
John Sr. was a Revolutionary War soldier as is evident by the 1840 Census listing of Pensioners and by his Revolutionary War Pension Claim filed in Lebbanon Co COurts. John Sr. Died February 28, 1842 and Sabrina died July 20, 1810. John Bickel Jr. is their only known child. There may be more.
Another John Bickel was found on a tax list as follows:
