I just read everyone's postings regarding Andrew J Bickers, Iva, and LLoyd. I just started doing research on the Bickers because my Grandma is Jewel Bickers, daughter of Andrew and Iva and sister to Lloyd. She was born 10-02-1921 My grandma is still living and lives here in Salinas, CA with my mother, Jewel (Barnett) Burr. She also had a son, James Barnett, who is now deceased. I would love to find out more information and can't wait to go see my grandma tomorrow and tell her that I found some of her family online. I remember she use to call one of her sisters who I believe was named Dorothy in Illinois. I think they lost touch. Does anyone know what happened to Dorothy? I don't remember. I do remember meeting Lloyd when I was younger. Also, I remember driving out to Arkansas and Missouri with my grandma, mom and sister for a family reunion when I was in elementary school. I am now 26. If there is anything you would like to find out from my grandma, just let me know and I'll ask her. She still receives the newspaper from Pocahontas, ARK. She calls it "visting home".
