I just thought it would be appropriate to post that the last male desendent Robert Bickers of the Virginia branch of the family that stayed in the Madison, Culpeper, Orange area (place stayed the same, county lines changed) died on April 3,2003. He was 82, and known for his "quick wit". He died, and was buried, on a farm we purchased three years before his death, adjacent to the farm he was born on, and part of the original tract of land granted by the King to the original Robert Bickers. He had two daughters, one has a son named Robert Bickers, so thus the name continues in our line.
