I am also doing research on the BICKETT family. They are my decendants. In regards to your question on who was Mary Elizabeth Bicketts parents? With the research that I have done I think her parents were Arnold BICKETT and Julia Parsons. Sometimes the dates get mixed up.I traced this family back to the first generation. All the information is listed below.
Arnold and Julia (Mary Elizabeth Bickett's Parents) were married Feb.05,1825. Julia was the daughter of CLEMENTS Parsons and ELIZABETH FORREST. I think Mary Elizabeth BICKETT was named after her grandmother ELIZABETH FOREST.

ARNOLD was born Dec.25,1800 in Frederick Co. Maryland and died May 05,1875 in Raywick, Marion Co.Ky.

ARNOLD'S parents were WILLIAM BICKETT born 1742 in Ireland or,and died 1824 in Marion County, Ky. England and JANE HART she was born 1755 and died in 1830.They were married in England .
WILLIAM and JANE had 9 Children. 7 boys-2 girls

1.James Bickett-born abt.1775 Frederick Co. Maryland,USA died 1814 Marion Co. Kentucky.

Henry BICKETT is how I am connected to the BICKETT family-----(Arnold BICKETT -(Mary Elizabeth BICKETT father) and Henry BICKETT were brothers.)

Henry Bickett-was my great grandfather by marriage. He married my great,greatgrandmother(Jane Alvey Lamkin BICKETT when her 1st husband Peter Lamkin died. Peter Lamkin was my great,great grandfather.(I was a Lamkin before I married.) Henry and Jane raised 17 children (6 children were from his first marriage. His first wife died too.) 3 children was from her first marriage and then Henry and Jane had 8 of their own children.They lived on a farm in Raywick,Ky.Marion Co. My family the Lamkins still own some of the land that the Lamkins own back then.

Because of Henry's hard work I am here today. He had to have been a wonderful man to have raised 17 children during that time.

Arnold's great grandparents (ROBERT BICKETT'S parents) were ROBERT BICKETT and JANE GUNNLEY. They only had the on one child named ROBERT also. He was born Oct. 28,1688. This was the 1st generation of this family of BICKETTS.

Arnold during his life had married been 3 times to- (1)HASKINS (2)ELIZA MILLS and (3)JULIA ANN Parsons Feb.05,1825. Julia was the daughter of CLEMENTS Parsons and ELIZABETH FORREST. Arnold and Julia had 8 children.
