This is in reply to Nancy Jewell's reply September 2000. I am descended from Joseph and Rachel (Partridge) Chase throught their daughter Elizabeth. Elizabeth married first Benjamin Hilliard and then married Captain Joseph Tilton as his third wife (his second wife was Benjamin's sister also named Elizabeth).
