I am looking for the maiden name of Lydia, wife of Corp John Bickford. Lydia and John married about 1754 in Newington, NH. Lydia was born Abt. 1725 in Dover, NH and died Bef. 1825 in Barnstead, NH. Her husband John was born Abt. 1723 in Newington or Dover, and died Jun 10, 1807 in Barnstead, NH. John's parents are Thomas Bickford and Esther Adams.

History of Durham states the following: Was a Corporal in King George's war in 1740. Signer of Association Test. Settled first in Epsom, NH moved to Barnstead in 1765, being one of the first proprietors. Deeded his farm in Epsom to son John in 1801.
