Hi to several posts I received today. The Bickham Line (northern) descended from Hugh Bickham/Liz Parker. A son, GW Orovile/Deborah Cocheran(also a wife Mary Hill but no progeny if any of that marraige), then David L Bickham/Mary Catherine Ralston, then Ira Ralston/Bessie Campbell, Ira Ralston/Kathleen and my husband David Lawrence/Betty Bickham. I have not been able to verify any one beyond Hugh. There is a Penn/NJ Branch that has a Calab Bickham but our DNA (on line) verifies there is no direct connection to the northern branch. I have not pursued the descendents of Hugh other than the direct line to my spouse. there may indeed be an Oscar in there. We have met Black Bickhams but again have not specifically traced them since I know a number of Bickhams went to New Orleans and Texas. There is an excellent website for the Bickham family that also has the DNA testing done so far. I urge all who are interest in actual verification of which branch to look into the DNA program. The NJ Penn branch goes back to England and has been verified. Unfortunately, our line is stalled with Hugh who apparently was documented as being married in Ky and lived/died in Logan County Ohio. I do have the lists of children of each of the line I have listed but nothing more re their families.
