I despair of ever finding out about my g-g-grandmother's lineage. She was Ella N. Biddle of Centre Co. PA (1850-1937), wife of John P. Eves. They are both buried in Gray's Cemetery in Stormstown, PA. There is a Hiland Biddle buried nearby who appears to be a contemporary of Ella's. I know nothing whatsoever about her. She was probably a Quaker, since she was married into a Quaker family in a community that included early Quakers in that area...I also believe that the Biddle name in PA was historically Quaker.
