Latest census (1880_ from Grant Co. Wis. shows Benj. as 53 from New York. Should have been 42? Anna as 42, children: jElla, mary, Sarah, Grant, Joseph, GEorge, Charles, Albert, and Mabel. Either they don't know their own ages, or the census taker didn't know how to write them. Ella and Sarah were both gone from the household - probably married by then Ella would have been 22 and Sarah 18. I will ask for the 1890 census next to see if they are still in Wis. At least Anna or Anne's age is more in the ballpark. J.K.
