Not sure if you got any information of him in the past 8 years or not. Reading the records from the war department, he's the Pvt Jacob Bidleman who died on August 19, 1919 and buried at Fort Cobb Cemetery, Oklahoma. Family lore has him as the youngest child of the Daniel and Cathrine Bidleman family and born in Delaware County, Ohio. Irene "Alva" Bidleman is buried beside him in Oklahoma. One later child born in Kansas.

In information we have found about one of our ancestors who moved to Ohio, there was a John Bidleman, who was born in Bloomsburg, Pa in 1780. They moved to Ohio in 1800s

They moved to Summit County in the Green township area (now outside of Akron) lived in area called Myersville. John's son George came in 1831 range. He married Rachel Grotz daughter of Abraham Grotz and Mary Kuhn.

John was married to Elizabeth Lillie and had four children, George our ancestor being one of them. John disappeared sometime in the early 1800s driving a team of oxen to New Jersey.

Would like to see others here who are researching the same name. I have been researching my entire tree for almost 20 years and have some 20,000 names added to it thus far. NOT all Bidleman.
My Bidleman's are traced back through Missouri to Ohio. The oldest know Bidleman in my tree was a Biddleman and Beidleman on census records. Daniel married to a Catherine settled in Delaware County, OH He was born in PA 1786/89ish and died 1855 in Ohio. He had numerous children. I have been to www.familysearch.com and did come up with that Daniel Beidleman. The dates of the birth of the parents and the births of all the children do not compute. It is possible he is the same person and I will look into it

My great-great grandmother Jeanette Bidleman was married to Benjamin Leonard of Cattaraugus Co. New York. Elton, Freedom, Machias area of lower western NY. Jeanette's mother, Elizabeth "Betsy" Snell was from Herkimer NY and part of the Snell/Timmerman/Zimmerman family.

I found a record in Shenandoah County, Virginia that a Daniel Beidleman married a Catharine Read, August 16, 1825

Can anyone tell me anything about the couple. I am hoping they are my direct ancestors since my gggreeat grandmother is said to had been born in Virginia and so was my ggreat grandfather David Bidleman.
Daniel and Catharine moved to Delaware county, Ohio in the latter 1820's with a couple children in tow. David was said to had been born in Rockham, Virginia
Daniel and Catharine are buried in Bokescreek cemetery

I only want to know about the couple not David. I already have plenty on him

Anyone who knows the name of the parents of Daniel Bidleman who was born somewhere in Pennsylvania in 1783. He die in Delaware county Ohio in 1855 and is buried in the Bokes Creek Cemetery. He was married to a Catharine who was said to had been born in Virginia.
