August Beibel was born about 1845 in Saxony (what ever that means) wife was Theresa(1855-56) children, Eva (1871-72-KS) , Josephine-(1874-KS)---Louise(1877 -KS)--Theresa-(1879-80 -TX)--I believe both August & Therese emmigrated through Louisana, not sure when or if together.--The appear in KS from 1872-1877. They are in TX in 1880--He is in the military. In 1890 he is in Ft Maginnnis, Fergus, MT. -(Vets Census)--He gets his naturalization in St Paul, MN-----1910 & 1920 he is in St Paul, and his widow lives with son August in St Paul in 1930.
The daughter Josephine is listed as Joseph E. , son in 1880 census, but everthing else checks out and it is Josephine--a girl.-- The follow up remark ffrom Joe Kies gave me my proof.-Would like to hear from Amanda or Joe or anyone researching this family.---.--Thank you, Loretta

Hello - both of you responded to a Bieble message board on Ansestry.com.

I believe this is the correct family line - and it makes me very happy. Louise is my Great Aunt Fran's mother - who died when she was really young. There are a lot of questions and gaps I know she would love to fill.

She knows that all the kids were born on Army bases --- she thought Louise was born in a Southern state in Huat, Al?.

SHe has heard of Saxony her whole life - a town in Germany. She recalls an Aunt Jo and her husband (although she could not recall his name - although her brother visited them often in Roy, Montana) and others --- although she also remembers at least one other Aunt that was not listed - an Aunt Jaqueline (divorced- made and sold candy?) her son Jack?

I would love any additional information that you would have... it would make Fran so happy.

Thank you so much!

Hi, Harold,
I believe you are the first person I have seen with the old-time spelling of the surname Bible.
I am a descendant of Hans Adam Biebel who came to America in 1750 from Germany. There were 3 Biebels in all that came (we know of so far): Hans Adam, Johan Daniel, and Johan George.
Check in with the Bible family page @ rootsweb.com. They are doing family research on the Bible family and have lots of great information and people that can help you. Good luck! Kay

I am researching Hans Daniel Biebel, but have little
to no information about him. All I know is that he
immigrated to the U.S. in 1750 aboard the ship
Edinburgh. If anyone has any info on this man please
reply to this message.
Thanks!

Melissa,
My name is Shondra Bible and I beleive I
may be a descendent of a Hans Daniel Biebel
who immigrated to the U.S. in 1750 on the ship
Edinburgh. I do not know if this is the same
Daniel Biebel you are talking about, but any
information would be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to e-mail me at
plymothprowler2000@yahoo.com with any info.
Thanks!

Boebel Family in Wisconsin???

You may want to check spelling variants in your research....you spell it B-I-E-BEL, and in Grant County, Wisconsin there are several research references to the name BOEBEL. I am researching this spelling along with my DEGENHARDT line from Grant County, WI as well. Let me know if there is interest and I will share my references and addresses, etc.
