I am trying to locate some family members who were cousins of my Grandfather, John Roman Bien. There were at least 2 brothers who immigrated to the United States around the turn of the 20th century. Their names were Joannes Adalbertus (John) and Andreas Adalbertus (Andrew) Bien. They were the sons of Anthony Bien and Marianna Gurgol from Brzozowa in Galicia, Austria, and now Poland. John married Urzula Gajas (sp) in 1915 in East Chicago and Andrew married Lucy Bojosek (sp) in 1910. My Grandfather was an only child, and may have been very close to his cousins. They all moved to East Chicago, Indiana at least for a short time. If this information sounds like your family history, would you please contact us?
