Richard Bierman Sr.
MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Richard H. Bierman Sr., 76, of Muscatine died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at Lutheran Homes.
There will be no services or visitation. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bierman was born June 1, 1925, in Muscatine, the son of Edward H. and Ethel M. Rock Bierman. He married Mary Lou Sorrells May 15, 1954, in Muscatine.
He retired from GPC where he worked in the starch department. He enjoyed photography.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou of Muscatine; three sons, Larry Bierman of Arizona, Gary Bierman of Indiana, and Richard H. Bierman Jr. of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Janet Altman and Noreen Wright, both of Muscatine and Victoria Conover of St. Joseph, Mo.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two aunts, Margaret Bloomhuff of Muscatine and Mildred Singledecker of Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, John.
Note No relation I went to school with his wife.
