In response to your reply to John Baumann. John's wife is my cousin Christine and I am aware she was only tracing our lineage therefore you must be related to me in some way. Sadly, John has passed away and after stumbling across this site by chance, thought I would find out if you know if or how we are related to each other. My dad was Albert Bigby born in Hoxton, London June 30th 1920 and Christines dad is John Bigby (my dads brother). They also had two sisters, Renee and Ellen and another younger brother George. Their mum was Alice Saunders and I believe my dads dad was also called Albert. My dad married my mum in 1957(Elizabeth McGinty) and together they had four children, Sharon born May 1958, Ian born July 1960, Deborah (myself) born September 1962 and Fiona born February 1967. Any knowledge or gap filling would be helpful. I am also on facebook under my married name Deborah Pardoe if you want to contact me. Would be interesting to find out how William Scott Bigby was related to my dad (perhaps an uncle?) My dad was the eldest child and there was about 18 years in age between my Uncle George and him so would hazard a guess that my grandad was quite a young man when he fathered my dad and probably born in the 1890's
