Hi Susan,
Thanks for getting in touch with me! Yes I believe the Bigg name is from Kent too, Lots of Biggs but the Bigg family is not easy to trace, not my side I have got back to about 1832 as a definite but before that I am not having much luck! I have come across the William Bigg line a number of times but I am stuck on my GGGrandfather Thomas Bigg, I just dont know how to find out where he was born! He was married in Saint Martin-in-the-Fields London and the marriage banns state he is of that parish so he may be a Londoner though he live all his married life up in Manchester he was a Calico Printer and Manchester was the place to be then right in the heart of the Industrial Revolution! They Had money and all the children were educated and went to University.
I will look out for your line as I am sure we must have a connection!
All for now , Frank
