Hi, I think I just found a connection to the bigg family of sheerness/sheppey.

On my fathers line,

Delia Smith - b 1842 sheerness m James Mills b 1832 and had 3 sons, George H Mills,James Mills and John Mills.

James Mills died in about 1874 and Delia re-married in 1874 to a James Bigg in Bethnal Green.
They were living in poplar on the 1881 census. By this time James Bigg must have passed away.

Delia Bigg b 1842 in sheerness - Head,
George H Bigg b 1864 in sheerness - Son,
James Bigg b 1871 in poplar - Son,
John H Bigg b 1866 in sheerness - Son,
Sarah Bigg b 1880 in millwall - Daughter.

I assume the 3 sons are actually children of James Mills.
