Do you actually have any proof of his birth in Kentucky, or any proof that his wife's last name was Painter? I am also a descendant of DA Biggers but I have only found him and his family in Bedford/Marshall counties in Tennessee and Hill county Texas. Also his wife's death certificate lists her father's last name as Perry. I have no proof of his parents names, and I have found no marriage license for them. Every census in Texas lists him as Davis Biggers born in Tennessee, and they say his wife was also born in Tennessee. I know censuses can be wrong. I have also looked at all the available death certificates of their children and all agree with each other and my findings - if they stated anything. I believe this DA Biggers fought with a CSA regiment from Bedford county, Tennessee, in the Civil War. I have not seen Kentucky or Painter anywhere except online with no given documentation. I'm not saying you are wrong just trying to understand where you found your information, so please help me with this question.
