Sheila, we know that Willis Biggs is the son of Joel Biggs and his first wife. Joseph Willis Biggs is the son of John & Mary Mason Biggs. I have found no where that Willis Biggs was referred to as Joseph Willis Biggs. Joseph Willis Biggs died ca. 1800 in Charlotte County and his will was probated there. Joseph Willis Biggs and Willis Biggs are two different and distinct individuals and are first cousins, their fathers being brothers. The Internet has perpetuated these two as being the same person and it is not so! Jim
