A family history prepared by Barbara Ann West Tsekouras in 1974 has the following: Miles Monroe Biggs, born March 26, 1828 in Alabama, with siblings Ethan, Tully James, Margaret, Carolina E. and William (1850 Census, Monroe Co, Alabama). The father was Archibald, b. Jan. 15, 1801, Edgecombe Co, N.C. died Feb. 6, 1881, Luling Tx. , wife Elizabeth Matthews b. 1801, Ga. Archibald was son of Mitchell Biggs, b. Robeson Co, N.C. Mitchell was the son of James Biggs and Sarah Ethridge
