Anyone have any clues to to ancestors of Mary Ann Bigler. She was born in New York about 1824 and married Truman Merchant in probably 1844/44. The Census's for 1850, 60,(the New York State Census for 1865 shows she was born in Cattaraugus County) 70, 80, and 1900 place her in Napoli. The 1860 Census shows a William Bigler, age 27, living in the Merchant household.

The 1850 Census shows a Phillip Bigler, age 56 in Little Valley. (Sally-age 47, Henry-age 19, William- 16, Eliza-age 12, and Lafayette-age 4). Any connection?
