Michael Friedrich Bihler (born October 7, 1825) and his brother Johannes (born Dec 25, 1827) moved to America, unknown when. They lived in Simmersfeld in the northern part of the Black Forest, Wuerttemberg, Germany.
At least one niece of them moved (later?) also to the USA: Anna Catharina Bihler, born March 20, 1864. Maybe also their niece Katharina Waidelich (born Jan 29, 1841), a illegitimate daughter of her sister Anna Maria (1814-1854).
The descendants of these persons are known.

Simmersfeld is a small village with about 1000 inhabitants now, located closed to the town Altensteig (nowadays 10.000 inhabitants) in the nothern part of the Black Forest, Wuerttemberg. These places belonged formerly to the „Oberamt“ (district) Nagold, since 1935 to the „Kreis“ (a „bigger district“) Calw.

Do someone knows anything on Anna Maria Bauer (date of death, marriage, living places, descendants?)
