      <description>My Bihuns came to Winnipeg from Galicia.  My gggrandmother was named Fembrona, unknown maiden name.  She married and outlived 3 husbands: unknown Smilski, John Sholdra, and unknown Karmazyn.  The marriage to Karmazyn resulted in one child Irene Karmazyn who married John BIHUN.  Their children were Nicholas, Peter, Nellie, Fedor Fred, Steven, and Michael.&lt;br&gt;Nellie married Phillip Storozuk and Fedor Fred married Katherine Kozak.</description>

I have a John Bihun born Jn. 24, 1890 in Lesko, Galicia, Poland, son of Lucia  Eva (Breznsky) Bihun. John came to the U.S. in about 1919 and settled in Indiana Co. PA. where he met and married Helen Suwolitch. John died in Ramey, Pa. 1962. Children all spelled surname Behune, Madge, George, Samuel, Theresa, Susan, John, Robert.</description>

      <description>Sorry I cant say for sure these families are related, ours were also supposed to have been from Austria, but we found out they were really from the Polish/Ukraine or a place called Galicia. This area was at one time under Austrian rule, that is why they said they were from Austria. I think the family is probably connected remotely, the name was originally spelled Bihun.</description>
