While researching the 1922 Knickerbocker Theater Disaster, I located death certificates and an article in The Washington Star Newspaper about William I. Bikle, a 50 year old victim, and his daughter, Frances Marie Bikle, a 16 year old victim.

William I. Bikle was born in Waynesboro, PA, the son of William I. Bikle (native of Thurmont, MD) and Catherine Virginia Rohror (native of Alexandria, VA). He was married to Laura Krizo Bikle and was employed as a barber. He was identified by his sister, Mrs. H.E. Kauffman and was interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC.

Frances Marie Bikle was born in Washington, DC, the daughter of William I. Bikle and Laura Krizo Bikle. She was a student at St. Cecilia's Academy and was interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC.
