Sorry I still don't have a family history for Byles. My husband's parents died when he was young, so his history is very sketchy. We know that there are Byles in Many, Louisiana and Robeline/Natchitoches, LA area (these areas are close together). Supposedly many Loyalists, a category the Byles fell in, moved to the South because of the Revolutionary War. We feel that's how his family ended up in Louisiana.
