Vavrina Bina

Vavrina ( 1839 - 1926 ) and Katerina Bina ( 1839 - 1925 ) of Czechoslovakian descent homesteaded the farmstead in Sauter Township which is owned by the fourth generation. The original homestead house has been remodeled, but is lived in by the fourth generation.
There were six sons & one daughter:
Joseph L. Bina
Martin Bina
Frank L. Bina
Thomas J. Bina
Matt Bina
John Bina
Mary Bina ( Mrs Frank Maresh )

Their son, Joseph L. Bina, born 1885 and Kristina Pavek Bina, born 1883 ( daughter of Frank and Anna Zicka Pavek ) lived on the farm after their marriage in 1904 ( second generation ). Joseph died in 1925. Mrs Bina resides in Grand Forks.
There were four children:
Alice ( 1905-1940 ) married to Charles Maixner and has one son: Allen.
Lawrence F. ( 1909 -) married Agnes Matejcek (third generation). They have three children : Dennis J. married Barbara Senson (present owner and fourth generation),
Mayvis (Mrs LeRoy Troftgruben) and Larry married to Linda Nelson.

Geneva (1911-) married Edward Kouba and had two sons: Daniel, married Marjorie Elton and Edward, married Janice Verwey.

George ( 1914-) married Marcy Shirek and had three children: Sandra ( Mrs Raul Aquire), Joseph and Michael.

I am looking for information on a Katherine Marie Bina who married AlexanderIII Millar. They were married in Illinois on July 31, 1937 or there about. Katherine's parents were Margaret Haas(Bina) and William Francis Bina.
Katherine was born in Chicago and moved to Oklahoma were she died July 24, 1990.

Are you related to these Bina's and Millar's? Kathryn and Al are my Grandparents. My mother divorced their son when I was very young and I was adopted by my dad. I have met my real father and my Grandfather although my father doesn't want to speak to me I do keep in contact with my Grandfather.
I also used to send out Christmas cards to some of the Aunts and Uncles but we have moved several times and I have misplaced their addresses so I haven't contacted them in a long while.

Have not been able to locate Legenthal, Bohemia.

Have been researching BINA as family name.
Have found it in Hebrew (meaning
understanding) and Farsi (meaning one who
sees well. Please keep eye open for any
connection with Spain, Portugal, Bohemia or
German connectons for me. Thanks.
