      <description> Vavrina ( 1839 - 1926 ) and Katerina Bina ( 1839 - 1925 ) of Czechoslovakian descent homesteaded the farmstead in Sauter Township which is owned by the fourth generation. The original homestead house has been remodeled, but is lived in by the fourth generation.&lt;br&gt; There were six sons &amp;amp; one daughter:&lt;br&gt;  Joseph L. Bina&lt;br&gt;  Martin Bina&lt;br&gt;  Frank L. Bina&lt;br&gt;  Thomas J. Bina&lt;br&gt;  Matt Bina&lt;br&gt;  John Bina&lt;br&gt;  Mary Bina ( Mrs Frank Maresh )&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; Their son, Joseph L. Bina, born 1885 and Kristina Pavek Bina, born 1883 ( daughter of Frank and Anna Zicka Pavek ) lived on the farm after their marriage in 1904 ( second generation ). Joseph died in 1925. Mrs Bina resides in Grand Forks.&lt;br&gt; There were four children:&lt;br&gt; Alice ( 1905-1940 ) married to Charles Maixner and has one son: Allen.&lt;br&gt;  Lawrence F. ( 1909 -) married Agnes Matejcek (third generation). They have three children : Dennis J. married Barbara Senson (present owner and fourth generation),&lt;br&gt; Mayvis (Mrs LeRoy Troftgruben) and Larry married to Linda Nelson.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; Geneva (1911-) married Edward Kouba and had two sons: Daniel, married Marjorie Elton and Edward, married Janice Verwey.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; George ( 1914-) married Marcy Shirek and had three children: Sandra ( Mrs Raul Aquire), Joseph and Michael.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This biography of Vavrina Bina in Walsh County, ND Centennial book, Vol 2, page 1082.</description>
