In regard to the parentage of Mathurin Binet.

To my knowledge, no one has researched his parentage to date.

Further, there is debate on which of the two wives of Mathurin was the mother of Rene Binet. You might contact the author of this citation in fichierorigine.com, http://www.fichierorigine.com/detail.php?numero=280086.

According to the author of that citation, the mother of Rene Binet was Marie Bonnet, not Marie Proulx.
