Check for Edward Bing in the 1830 & 1840 GA censuses (Franklin Co) & 1850 SC census (Western Division, Pickens District). There are Edmond, Edward, George, John, & Lewis Byng in the 1820 Mecklenburg Co., VA census. In 1830 Edmond, Edward & Lewis are not listed, but Martha, John & George Bing are listed. Martha may be a widow of Edmond or Lewis. I believe Edward had moved to GA, per above. The 1840 Meck. Co., VA census lists Elizabeth, George, 2 Johns & Spencer Bing. The 1850 Meck. C., VA censes lists only Elizabeth & George Bing.
