I am a descendant of John Byng who came to America in probably the 1760's. He was likely an indentured seervant to an Episcopal Minister, James Craig. My descendants go from him to James (Mecklenburg County, Virginia), TO Edward/Edmund who married Martha Short to James who married Lucy Johnson and moved to Franklin County, Georgia; to Martha (Patsy) Bing who married my gggrandfatherm Jacob Naugle in 1830.

Is this the same line as yours????

If so I am stuck on James Bing after the 1860 census.
