Hi,
No, my family is from Estill, SC. I know there are some Bings in Allendale, but I can't find the relationship to my folks.
My grandfather has some relatives in Orangeburg. but I do not know them. There is a lot of twisting and turning in the family, alot with the same name. I had a grandfather name
Charlie Bing and looking at different records there are about 12 Charlie bings in that area. and my other Grandfather was named Julius bing and there are about 9 Julius Bings in the same area. Then there is the Orrs, Russells, Scotts, the Becketts. Lawtons, Then there is a Lawton Russell the gentleman first and last name. now how do you figure that.? Then there is a first name McFurman, and then there is a town named Furman. Really Confusing. Then there is a family that lived in Gilllisonville, where my ggrandmother is from named Riley, but her name was Serena and married to a Perry Bing. But I got other info about a Sabena Riley from Gillsionville that was married to someone totally different but still around the same time frame. And my ggrandmother they called her grandma Lila. If you have anything else to add to this puzzle. Please do. Maybe we should have a reunion and call out Bings and see who show up. I have lots of info
saying that they were Hugenots from Charleston, and then I got info that said the Bings were German. And some other info that said the Bings were related to Henry the 8th. And so since my father's name was Henry, I am claiming Royality They were large families back then so I guess I am looking at one arm of the family. And the info I have is that they were Mulattos and free. Two of my ggmothers were sisters.
Please email me again. I couldn't pick this up from my e-mail. I had to go through the Bing Query. next time try rtbryant@aol.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
