Terrence Grady Bing

Looking for children or siblings of Terrence Grady Bing, born Sept 29, 1944, and died in LA, CA 2004.

My name is Theodora E. Stubbs, but I use to be Theodora Grady Bing, born July 1, 1973. He was married to my mother, Elizabeth Francine Stubbs on July 29, 1972 and they divored July 31, 1975. And I have not heard from him since I was a year old.

I know that he had other children with different mothers, I know that he had at least one sister, maybe Leone as a last name?

Any information would be appreciated, trying to reconnect with family.

There was a Lars Hess Bing born in 1761 in Denmark.

The Bing family were clergy that started in Norway near Trondheim. Some were also judges and teachers.

Hey Family. I was basing my information off family research started by a sister. Her "hunch" was based on the proximity of the names on the census record. Although I agree with her, I have since removed James from my tree until I have something a little more concrete. Will keep you in the loop if I find it.

DBMajor...what info did you find that relates James Bing to Julius..Laura..Lisbon etc. I am from Joel Mcfurman's part and I always thought that Washington (1824), Francis (1826), and James (1828) were part of the family but I have not found info to prove it.

I have a Frank Bing son of Gabriel Bing b. 1883 per the 1900 Bartow County, Kingston, Georgia cehsus Gabriel was son of James Bing and martha Finch who was son of James Bing and Lucy Johnson of Franklin County, GA who was son of Edward/Edmund Bing and Martha Short originally from Mecklenburg county, Virginia..

I am a descendant of John Byng who came to America in probably the 1760's. He was likely an indentured seervant to an Episcopal Minister, James Craig. My descendants go from him to James (Mecklenburg County, Virginia), TO Edward/Edmund who married Martha Short to James who married Lucy Johnson and moved to Franklin County, Georgia; to Martha (Patsy) Bing who married my gggrandfatherm Jacob Naugle in 1830.

Is this the same line as yours????

If so I am stuck on James Bing after the 1860 census.

There was an Edward Bing born in about this time period in Franklin County, Georgia to George A. Bing and Mary Hooper. His siblings were Joshua, Charles H, George I., elizabeth J., Nancy, and Samuel. George and Mary moved from Franklin county, GA to Bartow County, GA(1860) To Marshall County, MS (1870) to Fayette County, TN (1880).

George was son of James b. 1810 Mecklenburg County, VA (his sister was Martha who married my gggrandfather Jacob Noggle.
James was son of Edmund b. in Mecklenburg County, VA
Edmund was son of James b. in Virginia
James was son of John Byng who came to America as an indentured servant to an Episcopal Minister.

Gsbriel was son of James Bing and Martha Finch of Franklin County, GA. His siblings were: William M., Osburn, Catherine, John, Sarah, and Susan,

James was born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia in 1810 to Edmund Bing and Lucy Johnson. His siblings were George A., Martha "Patsy" (my gggrandmother who married Jacob Naugle in 1830) and one unknown daughter.

James was son of James Bing and Martha Short of Mecklenburg county, virginia. Lots of kids.

James was the son of John Byng (wife's name unknown) who came to Mecklenburg County, Virginia as an indentured servant to an Episcopal Minister.

Hi,

This is the James on the records that I mentioned that I wanted you to take a look at.There's a James and a Jim. If I remember correctly one is in St. Peter's Parish and the other is in St. Lukes. Maybe we can make the connection. But did any of the bank records mention a "James"?

I'm new to the community and just saw your message. My initial findings: GGGF - James Bing was the brother of Laura, Julius, Lisbon and others...My grandfather Gordon Bing married Lilla Stephenson. After her death, he married Maggie Stephenson (? spelling). My father, Jethro Bing borned and raised in Pineland SC, has two sisters currently living in Lake Mary FL. I'll be glad to share any additional information I find.

I have Bing Family from N.O.,La. Father Joseph Melville Bing in Civil War from Ohio. Stayed in N.O.,La. and married a Elizabeth Ryan. Had 3 children before she died. Then he married a Mary. My mother has a very old family photo album. One of the photos is supposed to be Thomas Marlow BING of Gallia County, OH who was married to Sarah Elizabeth WADDELL. Does anyone have a photo of T. M. My grandmother, Inez Orr Mallard, was from Jasper County, South Carolina but lived most of her life in Savannah, Georgia. Her parents were Angus Orr and Edna Busby Orr. I am related to the Orr's, Busby's, Jones, Lawton's, Bing's and Primus's from that part of South Carolina.

Hi,

I'm chasing Bing's in Kent/Surrey also. The furthest I have got so far is a James Bing born c1843 in Hever or Dover (depends which census you are looking at) Kent. He married a Hannah/Dianna White in 1865 in Surrey. Had 5 children that I know of, one of whom is George Bing my husbands maternal great grandfather (mother's mother's father... I think :D). George was born in 1870 and married Mary Ann Russon in 1894.

As I said, before James I have no idea of his family or where they were. I am going to be acquiring shortly James and Dianna/Hannah's wedding certificate so hopefully I will at least have a name for his father and be able to go further with that.

Hi there. The Edward Bing in the picture was born in 1840 and his wife Mary Susannah, nee Bradley, in 1841. If your ancestor William was born in 1827, he would be Edward's older brother. Their parents were Edward Bing and Elizabeth nee Hope. Sorry, no dates for them, but I think they had eleven children between 1827 and 1852. Hope that makes sense. At any rate, we are related!

The lady in the picture holding the baby is my great grandmother Annie Ellen Woodward, Edward and Mary Susannah's eldest daughter, and her son, my grandfather, William Henry Woodward, stands beside her with his dog.
Interesting that you have a copy but in reverse.

Hi there. Edward Bing and his wife Mary Susannah (nee Bradley) were my great great grandparents. I have loads if information to share, including a terrific photograph taken in 1894 or so. It shows Edward and Mary Susannah with some of their children and grandchildren. My grandfather is the boy standing with his dog. I'm going to try and attach it.

This is where my search hits a brick wall. Martha's children were Arthur, Charlie, Clifford,Rebecca, Ivy,Richard (Richie Lee)Nortie, who I believe is Henry. Edward Bing is also my great great grandfather, Edwards son Sydney Bing is my dads grandfather. i am trying to trace the Bing family line but i do not know much past Edward.
After talking to my dad i do know that they where known as the black Bings, I would love to learn more about the Bing line. the photograph was great any information you can provide would be brilliant.

About 18 months ago, I was apporached by someone who had found a Southeast MO State College year book. I bought it because of the SLAUGHTER relatives in it.

Edward Bing was my great great granfather William Bing
b 1827, younger brother. William's wife was Ester Dale also b 1827. I found Lilly in the 1901 census. I also have the same picture of Edward but inreverse.

are you looking for Edward Bing b 1840 Blean near Canterbury, Kent d 1926, married in 1860 to Mary Sussanah Bradley b 1840 Margate, Kent d 1921. If so they had about 15 children, the others not in your list are Alice Eliza, Ann/Jane Ellen, Emily Jane, Harriet Sophia, Mercy Elizabeth, Lilly, Edward John Arthur, John Harold, and Sydney Charles Bing. All born in Kent.

I have a friend that i am doing research for. His name is mike Bing. His Dad is Harold Bing. They live in a small town in Arkansas named Gilbert...I believe they settled here with a religious group from somewhere up North in the 1800"s. That is all I know.
