I have located info about Merritt Birdsell in Delaware County, Ohio. In Delaware, they have a guardianship / estate sale case for him. However, they have him as Birdsall, Merrit (Probate Case #997). A copy of the case can be gotten from the Delaware County Records Center located in the basement at 50 Channing Street, Delaware, OH. Also, I have his wife (widow) Mary D. (Converse) Birdsell [b 03 March 1823 – d 08 May 1904] being buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware, Ohio alongside many of her and Merritt descendents.
