I am looking for Thankful Birdzell and her ancestors. I know that her father's name was Isaac Birdzell. She was born Oct. 11, 1782, probably in Cayuga County, New York, and was married to Israel Curtis. She and Israel had eight children, some of who were born in Cayuga County, NY, then moved to Cattaraugus County, NY, where other children were born, then to Michigan. I wonder if she may have been sister to a Caleb Birdzell, whose name I have come across who was born late 1780s and born or lived in Cayuga County, New York. It is such a mystery that nothing seems to be out there about Thankful's family. Can anyone help?
