I am curious as to where this information came from? Can you clarify?

I know several Birdsongs who say they are Cherokee, Choctaw and Chickasaw.

In my family the story is Cherokee and Chickasaw and my Grandmother's sister spoke Chickasaw fluently. My Birdsong family resided in the Chickasaw and Choctaw nation (now Oklahoma). I find it amazing that out of all of the children born to my ancestors that none of them are on the rolls of the 5 civilized tribes.

My great grandparents came from Madison Co., Alabama ca 1860-62 (Birdsong G Grfather born KY) to TX and into I.T. (Chickasaw Nation) between 1872-1880. They had 12 children and none are on the rolls.

Have you found any Birdsongs on Creek rolls? Thanks
