Richard....I am a descendant of Peletiah Birge (Windsor, CT) and just read your old posting regarding the "Aisle of Pines". You made me decide I have to visit it this summer :-) However, the way I read your post it seemed to me that you were placing the Aisle in Troy, NY and it appears it is several hours west in the Finger Lakes region. Being a member of the University @ Albany for over 30 years, I am very interested in the lives of the noted Birge academicians and would like to share information with you & all family members.
