Dear Paul.I wish you had information on my Birketts ! Squire Birkett of Cumberland married Susan Draycote an Heiress first line in the Family Bible and they had George William Birkett abt 27 and from there on GWB children were born in Berkshire.In so saying although I have tried Cumbria Record Office and Berkshire Record Office there is no trace of his parents or of his birth.I do have his wedding certificate to Mary Higgs in Reading 1795 though.
