Surnames: BIRKS, BODDY
Seeking descendants of Caroline (nee BODDY) BIRKS, born October 1842 at Skelton near Boroughbridge, the daughter of Ann and Barnard BODDY. She married Thomas Kirby BIRKS in 1868 near Leeds. He was from Shropshire. Censuses state he was born at Aston, Newport, Shropshire. They had two children: Caroline born 1869 and John A. born c 1875, both at Leeds. I think Caroline, the mother, died in 1910. Barnard BODDY was the brother of my direct ancestor, Galen BODDY.
