Sally, No, those names don't sound familiar. My g-g-grandfather died in 1924, Berwick, Pa. I have an old photo with my gg-grandfather and his 4 brothers, all with initials and where they were living at the time the photo was takened. William Washington Birt (my gg-grandfather), A.G. Birt, both of Berwick, Pa., C.F. Birt of Cleveland, Ohio, T.J. Birt of Turtle Creek, Pa., and E.J. Birt of (M?) (W?) -assillon, Ohio. All I know of this branch is that they're parents were from Bristo, England and William Washington was born in Newton, Wales before the family emigrated over here.
