Moriah — Omer J. Bisaillon, 87, of Moriah, died Friday, May 11, 2001, at the Community Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was born July 13, 1913, in Morrisonville, the son of Napolean and Alexandrina (Renaudette) Bisaillon.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 14 and the Eagle Club in Vergennes, Vt.
Omer is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen (Tromblee) Bisaillon of Moriah; three daughters, Roseanne and her husband Joseph LaSacco of Albany, Suzanne and her husband Tony Fernandez of Witherbee and Janet Wojewodzic of Moriah; one son, Joseph and his wife Patrice of Waterbury, Conn.; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Raymond Bisaillon; and his sisters, Rita Violette, Edith Bisaillon, Blanch Nichols and Dorothy LaPier.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah.
Memorial donations may be made to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad.
