Hello,
I am looking for the parents of Mary Antonia Fontaine who was born in RI in 1868. Her birth record states that her parents were Joseph Fontaine and Philomena ?. Her baptismal record (which took place in Connecticut) states her parents as --difficult to read, but looks like--Usebia Fontaine and Philo. Bizia. There is a marriage record in Prov. RI for a Eusebe Fontaine and Philomena Bisaillon, and I am trying to find a connection. I am sure the 2 records are of the same Antonia, as the date is exact. I hope someone can help. I have been trying to find my GGgrandmother Antonia's parents for 2 and 1/2 years.

Moriah — Omer J. Bisaillon, 87, of Moriah, died Friday, May 11, 2001, at the Community Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was born July 13, 1913, in Morrisonville, the son of Napolean and Alexandrina (Renaudette) Bisaillon.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 14 and the Eagle Club in Vergennes, Vt.

Omer is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen (Tromblee) Bisaillon of Moriah; three daughters, Roseanne and her husband Joseph LaSacco of Albany, Suzanne and her husband Tony Fernandez of Witherbee and Janet Wojewodzic of Moriah; one son, Joseph and his wife Patrice of Waterbury, Conn.; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Raymond Bisaillon; and his sisters, Rita Violette, Edith Bisaillon, Blanch Nichols and Dorothy LaPier.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah.

Memorial donations may be made to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad.

Hi! I am the direct descendent of John Henry Bisaillon (born nov.26,1866) Sarah Bonin, he is the son of Henry Besio(born june 1, 1834) and Marceline Lafleur-Besio (this couple appears to come from Hogansburg, New York), he is the son of Jean Baptiste Bisaillon and Angelique Gosselin and so on.

Trying to confirm some info I got regarding FLAVIA (FLAVIE) BISAILLON. I
believe that she was born somewhere in Canada. There was a witness to her
wedding
in 1862 in New York at St. Joseph's. The name was AMABILE BISAILLON and
Hubert Lanctot. The info I received was that her parents may be AMABLE
BISAILLON and MONIQUE BROSSARD. (There also was a brother named Amable).
Flavia/Flavie married Francois-Esaie Lancto (Lanctot/Loncto). She died
between 1867 - 1870. She was
definately dead in Dec. 1870 as Francois remarried to my
great, great grandmother..and the wedding annoucment indicated that he was a
widower. (Flavia/Flavie was his first wife but not my great great
grandmother) ( Flavia/Flavie and Francis did have three children. Esther,
Phoebe and Esaie, jr.. )

Through searches I just made at the "Archives Nationales du Québec" I came across wedding,in Saint-Constant Québec, on 21 Nov 1831: Ambroise Caille and Eleonore Drolet daughter of Jean-Baptiste Drolet and Veronique Bisaillon. Is Veronique B. Jean Baptiste Drolet's 2nd wife as I understand he was married to Marie Hebert on 20 Feb 1775 in Varennes Qué. Would someone be kind enough to unravel this mystery? Thank you.
