Probably the best source for documented info on the Biser family is Margaret Lebherz (mbglebherz) in this thread. I suggest posting a message directly to her to see if she has anything.

I would be willing to give you what I have collected so far...however, I was hoping for maybe some clue that I am on the right track here besides just circumstantial evidence. I understand though if you cannot give me anything as far as Catherine Hendrickson m. William Hays/Hayes and this being my William and Catherine. As I said before, records are scarce. Catherine Biser was born 27 Aug 1782 in Middletown, Frederick CO MD. She died 30 Aug 1856 (Same date as her husband Spencer Hendrickson) in Pleasants CO WV and is burind in Calcutta, Pleasants CO WV.
Spencer and Catherine had 14 children. Sarah, Jacob, Amy, Margaret, Catherine, Daniel, Elizabeth, Amariah, Zachariah, James, John, William, Charity, and Mary.

Would be intersted in getting info on descendants of Spencer and Catherine.

Catherine is 2nd Cousin, 5 times removed.

Hi, I am hoping for some help. My gr grandmother was Angeline Hayes/Hays b. 1843 Pendleton Co WV. She was the d/o William Hayes/Hays and Catherine? I believe her parents to be William Hays and Catherine Hendrickson. Catherine's mother was Catherine Biser. I have found a marriage record for William and Catherine in Hardy Co. WV in 1938. When Angeline was abt 7 yrs old, her mother died. She was sent to live with others. I have very few records of Angeline until she is married and living in the Ritchie Co/Pleasants Co. area. In 1860, a William Haze is listed living with Jacob Hendrickson in Pleasants Co. Now, I know that the patriarch of this Hendrickson family, Spencer Hendrickson and several members of his family moved to the Pleasant Co. area. I guess what I am wondering is if you have any idea what happened to Jacob Biser's daughter Catherine? I would be grateful for any help. Sincerely, Gina

Immigrant was Jacob Beiser/Byser/Biser of 1746 who eventually settled in Frederick County Maryland and then Hampshire County, Va now WV. Send me some of your particular names and I will look in my file for your line.

The Biser family which I researched starts in America, with the immigrant, Jacob Biser of 1746. I was looking for early pictures; hence the message board. Two of his son stayed in Frederick County, Maryland and two migrated to Virginia, now West virginia. I have followed his descendants down to today and would be glad to see if you fit into that family lineup if you send me privately some of your information. That immigrant had at least 7 children as known frm his will.

Nadine, my name is Barbara Sheehan and my mother is a Biser...we connect to Generation #4, Nicholas, who married a Daugherty and had my great grandfather, Edward Thomas Biser, Edward married Anna Esther Foltz and had my grandfather, George Edward Biser. Your Martin was Edward Thomas brother, and Martha and Anna Foltz were sisters. There is a hugh amount of information on the Bisers by Margaret Lebherz of Baltimore. There is a copy of this information at the DAR in Washington D.C. which my mother donated.

yes, this Doyle sounds right. did he pass away??? 1924 sounds like the right age. my father in law is 82 will be 83 this summer. he would be a cousin to Doyle. Who's the biser that drove a school bus???? And there was a blind lady that also was a cousin to f. in l. Dennis Biser ....i can't remember her name. we were in Maryland around 65' . we stayed with Kenneths daughter and son in law.

Doyle E. Biser was born July 7, 1924 and was married to Thelma Louise Winters b. Feb. 1, 1928. they had a son Robert Doyle Biser born Nov 20, 1951.

Catherine Biser was born April 23, 1834 in Frederick Co, MD d. Sep 1888, daughter of John Jacob Biser b. Feb 12, 1793 Catoctin District, Frederick CO, MD d. July 11, 1870, and Catherine Brandenberg b. Dec. 24 1794, d. July 10, 1863. She married Isaac Keller b. Mar 12, 1832 d. Nov 15, 1903 on Feb 3, 1857 in Frederick Md.
They had a total of 7 children.

i'm still looking for more information on Morey Lee Charlton married to Cora Ellen Biser. they are burried in the Arnold Cemetery in WV. i know Morey Had a brother named Samuel Charlton,but know little more than that.any info would be greatly appreciated.i have many pictures to share with family interested

there is a picture of my gggrandfather solomon biser and his
2nd wife amanda ,in the beaver run church,on beaver run road
in mineral co wv.he was the preacher there.i have a copy of the picture.
