im ggggggranddaughter to first grandpa to last known next to is norman james, james ross, franklin , serrell, leverett , ozais . and leverett started saw mill on property in french creek area of little hope , pa now called greenfield pa close by to north east pa and land was given in lien of money for servicing rev. war and leverett went back to ct to die and serrell took over business and we all still in area as last of bissell family i guess saw the grave site pretty negleted. wondering all of the bissells go espeically brothers of james ross bissell as they rent that close only known good nbr of them have red hair as im only in family have deafness but not ashamed abt it . thought of rich history of bissell family as i personally live in erie pa on same st. that capt. russell bissell bro. of oazis came to erie pa with his troops to protect workers and gen. anthony wayne to build fort presque isle on foot of parade st. from the indians and others. as far known that capt. went back to ct. and went to st. louis , mo and die there too. my name as at birth is gwendolyn lou bissell in june 20 1955 parents of charles william bissell and jane marie post bissell of north east , pa still living . love to hear whereabt of any bissell reunions something like that . my brother scot and myself only ones are intersted in bissell fam. im eldest in family as there is four of us . hope to hear from u as im using local library computer as not allowed to use chat room only email . my regards to ur family from us wendy bissell roman greetings too !!!
