I am looking for any information on Amos Bissell, born circa 1807 in either New York or Canada, and died in Ontario, Canada. He was married to Algathea Purmost and they had 3 kids - Amos Jr, Catherine, and Charles. Charles is my gr gr gr grandfather. I'm hitting a dead end with Amos Bissell and don't know how to find any more info. How do you find the info when its not on the web?
