Lori...I know nothing about the Bitter family but have finally connected the Minnesota Laging family to the Illinois, Kansas and Oklahoma Laging families. This after 25 years of searching. Our common ancestor is Hans Heinrich Laging who was born about 1735 in Schmarrie, Schaumburg, Niedersachsen, Germany. This is in the Hannover area.
