I am a descendant of John F W Bitter b. 1814 in Germany, who married Sophia Hanthausen b. 1819 in Holland. They lived in Oregon, Lucas, Ohio and had the following 8 children: Elizabeth (1846), Christian (1848), William (1851), John (1853), Henry (1856), Jacob (1858), Elsa (1860), Frederich (1863).

Elsa Bitter-Schmidlin is my family line. I am looking for any info on the other siblings, or the parents of John and Sophia.
