There were two Rosalie's and two Elodie-- actually there were THREE Elodies. I could have sworn that your Ludie was from Louis Bizette and his wife Rosalie Bueche (see my genforum post)

Ok, so you think this is your line. Let me tell you about this one. Joseph Meida Bizette married Rosalie Bizette 1895 PCP. He was born 1871 PCP, the son of Maximilien Bizette and his wife Nathalie Saizon. Now Rosalie Bizette was born 4 Jan 1879 PCP, daughter of Ovide Bizette and his wife Josephine Bizette.

Now the daughter (of Meida & Rosalie) that you refer to as Mareson, I believe Mareska is Bizette who married 1915 PCP # 518 (Marriage Lisc #) to S. Bonaventure.

Joseph Meida Bizette had an older brother named Franscois Bizette from whom I am a direct descendant. I do not have a picture of their father Maximillien but I do have a picture of Francois Bizette and his family-- Meida's older brother. Francois also named a daughter Elodie too!

Anyway, to make a long story short-- all the Bizettes of Pointe Coupee Parish can trace their line back to the original early settler Francois Bizette (b: 1720 d: 1780).
