I am a descendant of this early pioneer family and
have published my research. All Bizettes of Pointe Coupee Parish trace back to the earliest settler of the area
Francois Bizette (b: 1720 d: 1780).
The marriage and estate records are all intact in the Courthouse in New Roads. The Catholic Church Diocese of Baton Rouge has the birth-baptismal, marriage and death records.
