SORRY FOR NOT GETING IN TOUCH SOONER , I`M STILL SEARCHING FOR THE FOLLOWING FAMILY MEMBERS UNCLE FELIX BLANCHARD AND CHILDREN , UNCLE RAYMOND BLANCHARD AND CHILDREN , AUNT REMESIA BLACHARD AND CHILDREN THEY RESIDED IN NEW ORLEANS AREA . MY FATHER`S NAME IS DENNIS JOSEPH BLANCHARD WHO IS ORIGINALY FROM DELCAMBRE BUT RESIDED IN NEW IBERIA LOUISIANA.MY AUNT EVA MARIE BLANCHARD (MRS. PICARD ) WHO RESIDED IN HOUSTON TEXAS , HER CHILDREN ARE HERBERT COMEAUX, MARYANN, DENISE, CURTIS (E.J PICARD) , SUSAN, ROSALIE, LOUELA PICARD . AUNT ZULEMAN MARIE BLANCHARD (MR. & MRS. BENJAMIN STOKES) CHILDREN ,GEORGE STOKES, ELIZABETH STOKES,ALBRTINE STOKES. UNCLE WILLIAM E. BLANCHARD (WIFE NATALIE BLANCHARD) LAST RESIDED IN CALIFORNIA, NO CHILDREN THAT I KNOW OF.(I AM DENISE BLANCHARD GONSOULIN`S NIECE, MAZILIDA MARIE BLANCHARD THE DAUGHTER OF DENNIS JOSEPH BLANCHARD WHOM IS THE BROTHER OF MRS. DENISE MUREL BLANCHARD(GONSOULIN). GG- GRANDPARENTS ROMAN /ROMAIN BLANCHARD ,ALOYSIA /ALOZIA DUGAS.THIS IS WHAT I HAVE SO FAR,IF YOU COME ACROSS ANY ADITIONAL INFO. I am looking for an Acadian Blanchard in France. I saw your posting per Blanchard in New Orleans and hope you may have some additional details on this. Marie Ann Blanchard b: 1720-21 in Acadia m: Nicholas Adam in LaRochelle France 1740. Father like son were boatswains. Son Augustin Joseph Adam married an Acaidan as well and settled in Louisiana. Several of their children born in New Orleans. I do not know about the parent info. and being in the ship business wonder if they too came to Louisiana? Or if you have other Blanchard info. in France or Canada that may help.

My Grandparents were Remesia and Armel Gonsoulin. I remember your grandmother. My mother is Cecilia Gonsoulin Godfrey. She is your Grandmothers cousin. Your Grandmother lived on Downman Rd. We lived off of Downman Rd. on Dorothea St. Any info your could give me would be greatly appreciated. If I can help with any info let me know.

Remesia Blanchard, born October 13, 1898 married Armel Joseph Gonsoulin, some records say "Joseph Harmel", in New Orleans. They had nine children, one of which was an Armel Joseph Gonsoulin, Jr., my father. They lived on Bayou Rd. in New Orleans. I have much more information, much too lengthy to include here. You can email for any more specifics that you might need.

I have her birth and death dates. they had four children. George Washington, Robert E. Lee, James Henry, and William Riley.
