I have read all your posts with interest pertaining to the David Johannes Black and particularly the Black Dyer Connection. I am looking for proof positive that my g-greatgrandfather, Thomas Hamilton Black, b.1828 is the son of Isaac Black and Detisha Dyer Black, probably born in Coweta Co., Georgia. All the information I have gathered and what you have posted "fits" except the U. S. Census date of birth for Thomas Hamilton Black. I know that there was a personal connection somewhere between my grandfather and Hance Black and I know that my grandfather had relatives around 1900 in Western Alabama. If you have any information to help me verify that the research I have done is on target, please let me know.
