Hi! I have a Francis Jane Black b ca 1842-1852 MO? she lists her father as being born in Tn. She raised a family in Phelps co MO.
William Black and Sarah Ann Hurley/Black moved from Green co TN to Phelps co MO in 1843. They had one child at the time. William Black b Dec 17, 1818 Green co Tn. Parents: Joseph Black and Mary Ann ?(It is believed Joseph was also b in TN)
m. Sarah Ann Hurley Aug 18, 1841. d. march 18, 1897 Braddock, Phelps co MO. William had a brother named Lewis Black. William and Sarah had 7 children at the time of William's death two sons and four daughters were still living. I believe William to possibly be my ggg grandmothers father. I need to know the names of William and Sarah's children.
William was a school teacher in Greene co TN and continued to teach for awhile in Phelps co MO. I believe they also had a farm around Braddock, in Phelps co MO.

William's brother Lewis may also be Francis Jane's father. Any info about his family would also be helpful.
